Social boarding
A proper little holiday with our resident dogs and carefully matched guests.
Find out more →A proper home from home across two council-licensed Washington properties, run by a dachshund-mad family who understand just how funny, stubborn and sensitive these little dogs can be.

Sarah and Jamie started by looking after friends’ dachshunds alongside our own girls, Ruby, Saffi and Emmi. Word spread, more little legs came through the door and Daxie Den grew naturally.
Katie joined us as the business grew, and before long the rest of our family had become just as dachshund mad. It is a true family-run business, with familiar routines, honest updates and care built around the dog in front of us.

Dachshunds are sensitive little souls. The more we know about your dog — their routine, worries, triggers, habits and funny quirks — the better we can tailor our approach and help them feel safe.
We try our very best to help every family we can, but we also have to be honest about whether our setting is suitable. Please tell us everything, even the bits you think might sound awkward. There is no judgement; it simply helps us make the kindest, safest decision for everyone.
If you have a requirement we have not covered, please reach out. We work with numerous trusted local boarders and dog trainers, so where possible we can help point your family towards suitable support.
